Christmas Cakes

It's all go this morning, I have a batch of Christmas cakes baking in the oven, and the smell is amazing.  Give me a call or drop me an e'mail if you want to order yours, they can be made as small or large as you want depending how much you love fruit cake.  A few of my orders are for customers to give as gifts to family or friends, and in this case I can wrap the decorated cake in cello or in a beautiful display box.  Alternatively you can order a sponge cake, with a christmas scene.

I've had another busy week with cakes, which is all good.  This week has given me two very different cakes that were equally as fun to make.  A very stylish red and white wedding cake and a birthday cake starring General Fuzuki from the Moshi Monsters.

Well it's been a busy summer with cakes, and kids being on holiday.  One of the cake highlights in the summer was the thistle wedding cake, as it gave me a chance to use my sugarcraft skills making the delicate thistles for the top. 

It was not all good though as one of our chickens died just before the summer holidays, so was a sad time for us all, however GC and Daphne are still laying lovely fresh eggs for all my cakes.

Ladies week

Well it's been a week for the ladies cakes, which were great fun to make, both of them were rich chocolate sponge (yummy).  I thought both cakes were stunning, let me know what you think!!   The low point of the last week was that one of my hens died, so I now have just the 2 girls, thankfully they are both in good health and are still producing the best eggs for my cakes.
